Common questions

Questions families ask before and after applying.

These questions cover admissions, curriculum, school life, and practical arrangements. If your question is not here, contact the admissions team directly.

Still have questions?

The admissions team is available Sunday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. A visit is still the clearest way to get real answers.

Admissions

Applications are accepted year-round, subject to availability in the requested year group. Contact the admissions team to confirm whether a space is open before starting the application.

The admissions team can confirm current availability across EYFS through to IGCSE. Year group places can change at short notice — it is best to enquire directly rather than assume a place is available.

Students applying to most year groups are invited to complete an age-appropriate academic assessment. This helps the school understand how best to support each child and ensures placement is appropriate to their level.

From first enquiry to offer, most families complete the process within two to four weeks, provided documents are submitted promptly. The school aims to communicate clearly at each step.

Yes, and the school strongly encourages it. A family visit gives a clearer sense of the environment than any website can. Tours typically last 45 to 60 minutes and are available Sunday through Thursday during school hours. Book through the admissions page.

Children must have reached the minimum age by that date to be eligible: Preschool (PN) 2yr 6m, Foundation Stage 1 3yr 6m, Foundation Stage 2 4yr 6m, Year 1 5yr 6m, Year 2 6yr 6m, Year 3 7yr 6m, Year 4 8yr 6m, Year 5 9yr 6m, Year 6 10yr 6m, Year 7 11yr 6m, Year 8 12yr 6m, Year 9 13yr 6m, Year 10 14yr 6m, Year 11 15yr 6m, Year 12 16yr 6m.

Curriculum

Aspire follows the British curriculum with a Cambridge-aligned route from EYFS through to IGCSE.

The IGCSE subject basket includes English, mathematics, sciences, humanities, languages (Arabic, French), and elective subjects. The final subject list is confirmed at the start of Year 10 based on student readiness and school guidance.

Yes. Arabic is a core curriculum subject from EYFS through to IGCSE, with dedicated teaching time at every stage. Students can sit Cambridge IGCSE Arabic as a First Language in Years 10–11.

IGCSE results from Aspire are recognised internationally as part of the Cambridge pathway. The school's academic team can advise on how results map to university entry requirements in Egypt, the UK, the US, and elsewhere.

School Life

Aspire offers football, swimming, athletics, basketball, and inter-house competitions. After-school clubs include robotics, arts, drama, and academic enrichment. The full activities list is confirmed each term.

The school day runs Sunday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Office hours for families are the same. Family visits are by appointment.
