Scholarship overview
Awarded on academic merit at secondary entry.
The Aspire Academic Scholarship recognises students with exceptional academic ability at the point of entry to secondary. It is awarded at Years 6, 7, 8, and 9 only. The scholarship is not available mid-year or at the IGCSE stage (Year 10 onwards).
Scholarship holders are expected to maintain strong academic performance throughout their time at Aspire. The award is based on merit, not financial need.

Year 6

-
Year 7
Age 11-12 · Early Secondary
EnglishMathematicsScienceEarly secondary entry. The school looks for strong academic foundations alongside the self-motivation to handle a more demanding curriculum structure. Applicants are assessed on their subject knowledge and their readiness to engage with secondary-level material.
-
Year 8
Age 12-13 · Mid Secondary
EnglishMathematicsScienceMid-secondary entry. Students at this stage are assessed on their ability to work independently, think critically, and engage with complex material across disciplines. Academic records carry significant weight alongside the on-campus assessment.

EnglishMathematicsScienceThe final scholarship entry point, one year ahead of the IGCSE pathway. Applicants are assessed on their academic record and their readiness to handle examination-level subject demands. This is the most competitive entry point.
