Two Years, Two Victories at the British Council Code Club
Aspire International School earns First Runner-Up at the British Council Code Club Competition 2025–2026, a second consecutive win in New Cairo.
Two years. Two victories. Aspire International School is proud to announce that our students won First Runner-Up at the British Council Code Club Competition 2025–2026, for the second consecutive year. The achievement was recognised by the British Council during the Strategic Educational Summit 2026.
Repeating this result is not luck. It is the sign of a coding culture at Aspire that keeps growing stronger, year after year.
Meet the Team
Five Aspire students carried the project and represented the school with outstanding coding, creativity, and innovation:
- Hania Ahmed Mohamed
- Mariam Omar Abdelrazek
- Malika Eslam Mohamed
- Lana Mourad Mohamed
- Maria Ahmed Mohamed
They designed their project, built it, tested it, and presented it with confidence, standing among the strongest student teams in the country and earning First Runner-Up once again.
Outstanding Coding, Creativity, and Innovation
The Code Club Competition rewards original thinking. Students must create something that works, explain how it works, and show the skill and teamwork behind it. Our team's project stood out for exactly these qualities: clear coding, genuine creativity, and ideas that pushed beyond the obvious.
These are the skills that matter well beyond a single competition, shaping how our students approach IGCSE coursework, problem-solving, and their future in technology.
Guided by a Clear Vision
This success reflects more than one team's effort. It is led by the vision of our CEO, Dr Omneya Shaker, and our Principal, Ms Wafaa Azmy, whose commitment to technology and student achievement runs through everything we do.
Our thanks also go to Aspire's ICT teachers, whose day-to-day guidance prepared the students for the national stage and helped turn a strong idea into an award-winning project.
Two Years, Two Victories
This win builds directly on last year's result. It was the first of two consecutive wins that began when an Aspire team earned First Runner-Up at the 2025 Code Club Competition. Placing again in 2025–2026 shows that Aspire's coding success is a steady, growing story rather than a one-off moment.
It also reflects our close and expanding relationship with the British Council, the same partnership that brought the first British Council Educational Centre in New Cairo onto the Aspire campus.
If you would like your child to learn, create, and compete at this level, explore admissions at Aspire or contact the admissions team to book a family visit to the campus.
